The history of tourism in Guanacaste has been signed by the tenacity of people who turned what seemed a dream into a reality.
By the year 1955 appeared in this scenario, as a precursor of that history, "a stubborn man that when he drew a goal he got it, no matter what other people thought"  In this was defined Don Claudio Rojas, considered one of the earliest pioneers, creator of those dreams.

In the late fifties, Don Claudio moved to the Guanacaste coast bringing the strength of his character and his inseparable companion, his wife Gloria. Don Claudio chose Playas del Coco to sow the seeds of his work.

The love for his wife Gloria was demonstrated with a small dock that he built in front of his house so she could sit down to fish in the beautiful sunsets. This was the same dock where an entire generation left some mischief, or a first kiss "Love Season"; there in the dock "DondeClaudio."

Thus began the dream that today, more than fifty years later, we propose "At Claudio & Gloria Restaurant "a place full of history, anecdotes, childhood dreams , where generations spent their holidays, which we rescued today as an icon of tourism in Guanacaste.
